Don’t miss our Cupcake Party at the end of March. Our 6/7 year olds will be such busy little bakers that they will never notice the sneaky little veggies that will make their way into the mini cupcakes! Email email@example.com to reserve. The class is already half full so don’t delay.
Chances are really good we will be using these cuties every time we host a class here at Miss Prim Culinary Camp. One of our primary goals is to introduce students to healthier eating options – and that goes for sipping too. We have the most fun introducing them to the sweetest, most flowery tasting herbal teas we can find at the market – served up in dainty tea cups and saucers, of course. Not only do our girls discover something new and interesting to sip but they have the best time doing so – it is one of the highlights of each class. Don’t be surprised, though, when your daughter comes home and asks you for a little vintage tea cup and saucer of her own ❤️
It isn’t always easy to convince a child to try new things…unless its their idea, of course. You know how it goes – if mom or dad makes a new or different suggestion it will be met with resistance – even if the child knows its a great idea. Turn that same idea around and make it his or her own and they are all about it! If you aren’t experiencing this just yet, give it a few short years and you will understand. Here at Miss Prim, we certainly don’t have all the answers but we do have 20 years experience working to find clever ways to encourage children to make healthy choices. We encourage them to try new things in the kitchen but we never, ever force them. We don’t have to! We simply give them options they can’t resist. Yes, we do take the time to shape our carrots into hearts for Miss Prim Culinary Camp and we know you can’t always do that at home. That’s what makes us special. It gives us superhero status and influence that we do not take lightly. We love to inspire children and then teach them the skills to reach superhero status right along with us.
Before I get into the heart of this post, I need to tell you the truth about this photo. Until now, every image I have posted here and on Facebook has been of cookies and I didn’t want you to think that’s all we eat here at Miss Prim. After all, we teach girls how to eat healthful foods not just cookies. I feel like this photo represents us a little better and it happens to be my favorite snack.
Besides explaining pears and brie, today I’m sending out big thank you’s to those of you who are inquiring about the February class schedule. The Valentine’s Day class is full but we are sending out the rest of the month’s schedule next week. Be sure to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your email address and daughter’s age so you don’t miss it. Email subscribers see the schedule two days before it’s published here or on social media. Instructions for registration will be included in the email, as well.
Thank you again and know that your enthusiasm has us so very anxious to meet you!
